Thank you for voting us #1 in Carver and Gold for the best dance studio in our region in the 2019 Wicked Local Readers Choice Awards
Hi Dance Family,
I know getting acclimated to this new normal is overwhelming and the unknown is frustrating. I am however learning new things to improve the studio. I just started a dance studio program that will let me do mass emails to keep everyone on the same page. When you receive the email you can then set up your child or children’s profile. In the fall you will be able to sign up for classes and pay online through this site but right now those options are not available.
As most of you have probably assumed we have to move the date of the recital. I won’t have confirmations of dates for 2 weeks when Mass school boards meet. But it will be in June. When I have confirmation I will send an email with all the new dates including ticket day and picture day and when we will be giving out costumes.
Thank you for all your support and understanding as I navigate through the unknown.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Why choose Carver Dance Center? We feel there are many reasons to join our dance family. We have 10 wonderful dance teachers who bring something different to each of their classes. 8 of the 10 teachers were also students at Carver Dance Center themselves. All of our teachers love what they do and it shows in their teaching of proper technique and their creative choreography in the recital.
Miss Jen not only has her degree in dance but she also has her certificate in early childhood education and worked at a day care for 7 years. Her background in early childhood educations influences the age appropriate dance curriculm we teach at Carver Dance Center. Miss Jen is not the only teacher that has outside experience with children. Miss Elyse, who works with the young children on Saturday, is a Kindergarten teacher with a background in Special Education. Miss Tina works in the school system as well as a para-professional. All of our teachers have a lot of experience with dance including dancing profesionally. Check out our staff page for information on all our teachers.
We treat all of our students equally which is why we do not have a select competition team or company. Our dance company is open to anyone in middle school and high school. Our dance company does community service such as fundraisers and nursing home visits. We want to share our love of dance while we help others and give our students another outlet to create the art of dance.
We are always available during the dance season to answer questions or to help out. Many students have asked us to write letters of referral for colleges or jobs. They have asked us to help them with school projects. We also have many students who have asked us to spend extra time helping them with a step they maybe struggling with. We are happy to do anything to help our students become successful in all aspects of their lives.
Our recital is in the beginning of May so there is no tuition due after April and there are no classes during the busy spring season.
We hope you decide to give Carver Dance Center a try!
