More information will be sent out this week.

THEME/SPIRIT WEEKS

This year’s recital theme is MOVIES. The exact title will be announced as soon as we know it. We wanted to have a little fun with the theme this year. Just like we did for our 50th Anniversary year, each month we will be having a spirit week! During each spirit week you can dress as characters or wear accessories that has to do with that theme.

OCTOBER (Friday, October 24–Thursday, October 30)
Halloween:
Dress as your favorite character from a Halloween movie or villain from any movie. You can also dress in the costume you already have planned for Halloween.

NOVEMBER (Wednesday, November 19–Tuesday, November 25)
Marvel vs. DC:
Dress as your favorite superhero even if they are not from one of these universes.

DECEMBER (Monday, December 15–Saturday, December 20) Christmas/Hanukkah Movies: Wear your favorite holiday accessories.

JANUARY (Monday, January 26–Saturday, January 31)
Disney Movies:
Dress as your favorite Disney character.

FEBRUARY (Monday, February 23–Saturday, February 28)
Back to the Future:
Dress in apparel from your favorite decade or as an iconic actor/character.

MARCH (Wednesday, March 25–Tuesday, March 31)
Red Carpet Glam:
Glitter and glamor, sparkle and shine. Wear you most sparkly apparel or accessories on our red carpet.

In April we will be busy preparing our characters for the show!

KIDS NIGHT OUT

We will be having our popular kid’s night events again this year every couple of months. During these themes events we will start with pizza, do crafts, have deserts, and end with a glow dance party.

Our first Kids Night Out is Saturday, October 18 from 5–7pm for kids ages 5–11 and only $25 per person. The theme is Halloween! Dancers are encouraged to wear costumes that are dance friendly. You don’t have to be a Carver Dance Center student to attend. Spots are limited sign-up soon on the Parent Portal.

UPSTAIRS STUDIO STUDENTS

If you take a class upstairs, please be respectful of the yoga studio down the hall by keeping your voices low while in the hallway and not touching things that belong to them.

TUITION/COSTUMES

A reminder that tuition fees and costume deposits are now combined and should post as a single amount. This amount will post to your account on the first of each month and needs to be paid by the 10th of each month to avoid the $15 late fee. There is a 10% discount if you pay each month by cash. If you have already paid by cash for the entire year but your tuition gets posted, please let me know so I can correct the error.
