Maddie Giglio
Maddie’s love for dance began when she was 9 years old as a student at Carver Dance Center. During this time Maddie studied Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Hip Hop. Maddie has also taken classes at Jeanette Neil’s Dance Studio in Boston as well at Steps on Broadway in New York City.
Maddie’s love for dance continued when she attended Bridgewater State University where she received a minor in Dance. She continued to study Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, and Contemporary dance. During this time, Maddie was part of Bridgewater State University’s Dance Company and participated in multiple performances a year. Maddie eventually became President of Dance Company where she found a love of teaching and choreographing. In addition, she was able to take classes and perform at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) being a selected member of the BSU’s Dance Ensemble.
Maddie is so excited to be back at Carver Dance Center and continue to grow her dance experience at the place she first fell in love with dance. When she is not taking dance classes or teaching she works as a Speech & Language Pathologist. Maddie currently resides in Plymouth with her boyfriend and 2 cats.
